Hotel Maintenance and Engineering Professional

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance and Engineering Professional to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities and equipment are well-maintained, safe, and operational.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily engineering needs and develop a plan to assign work efficiently.
  • Train and motivate your team to improve performance through coaching and feedback.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and team members by adhering to regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement a maintenance program to ensure the hotel is well-maintained and in service for our guests.
  • Minimize waste and maintain green initiatives by effectively managing parts and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Some college or advanced vocational training in general building maintenance and construction or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields.
  • Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required.
