Job Title:

This is a challenging role as a senior developer where you will be working in an office setting, 5 days a week.

We prefer candidates who can start immediately.

You will be part of a dynamic and friendly development team that is well-placed to innovate new features and functions in customer-centric applications.

Key responsibilities include analyzing product requirements, designing implementations, and participating in integration testing.

As a senior developer, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior developers, delegating tasks, and managing timelines, technical blockers, and quality deliverables.

The incumbent is expected to maintain the highest standards of integrity and respect in all interactions.

Additionally, they must operate within the framework, policies, and procedures of the organization and ensure transparency and accountability in all activities.

Other key skills and qualifications include proficiency with Oracle DB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including complex queries and database performance optimization.

Experience with Docker, Jenkins, and modern CI/CD pipelines; Kubernetes experience is a plus.

Proven experience in debugging, profiling, and performance tuning of backend applications.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to write technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices for fintech and payment systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
  • Lead the design of system architecture and database schema for complex, data-driven applications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, DevOps, QA, UI/UX, and product teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's / master's degree in engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related)
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Java programming

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Git, version control workflows, and collaboration tools.
  • Practical understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Postman) and experience with DevSecOps practices.
