Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to spearhead our testing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of JavaScript-based test automation, particularly with Jest, and experience in defining, executing, and scaling automated tests.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop robust, scalable automated tests using Jest and JavaScript. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting and maintaining quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle in a CI/CD-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to build automated tests using Jest and JavaScript.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and suites for learning workflows, APIs, and web applications.
  • Implement automated testing strategies for data analytics, user journey validation, and cross-platform data synchronization.

Technical Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Jest as the primary framework; also leverage Cypress or Playwright for E2E testing as needed.
  • Experience with JavaScript and Node.js for mocking, stubbing, and validating APIs, Azure Functions, and database interactions.
  • Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar tools).

Requirements:
  • 3+ years in software quality assurance with a strong focus on JavaScript-based test automation.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Jest, plus working knowledge of Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
  • Experience in API, performance, and security testing using JS tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in EdTech platform testing—adaptive learning, multi-user roles, analytics, marketplace, or payment integration.
  • Familiarity with accessibility test libraries in JavaScript and WCAG compliance.
