Job Overview:

A cybersecurity professional plays a vital role in safeguarding an organization's IT infrastructure by monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats. This expert serves as the first line of defense against cyberattacks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficiency in auditing methodologies, such as Schellman Methodology
  • Leading and guiding teams to ensure project success
  • Staying up-to-date with industry certifications (e.g., ISO LA, CISA, CISSP, AWS CCP)
  • Successfully managing projects from inception to completion
  • Deep understanding of Schellman's service lines and their leaders
  • Expertise in SOC 1 GITCs and SOC 2 criteria, particularly Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy
  • Knowledge of Principal Service Commitments and System Requirements impacting SOC 2 scope
  • Ability to identify potential exceptions affecting audit opinions
  • Self-motivation, proactive planning, and effective time management
  • Continuous learning and application of new concepts
  • Review and application of AS 2.0 Reference Guide and EWP WP Guidance
  • Obtaining CCSK and pursuing additional certifications (e.g., ISO 27001 LA, CISA, AWS CCP)
  • Understanding and articulating differences between SOC 1 and SOC 2
  • Participating in attestation offerings, such as HIPAA, AUP, C5, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Schellman's services, methodology, and relevant industry standards
  • Requisite knowledge of applicable technology and security domains
  • High attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Strong time management, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Schellman's service delivery tools
  • Full understanding and application of ethics, independence, and company values
