Operations Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive operations coordinator to oversee vendor relationships, ensure timely supply of goods/services, and support smooth operational processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong coordination skills, problem-solving ability, and the capability to work with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a single point of contact for vendors and internal teams.
  • Manage vendor onboarding, documentation, and compliance checks.
  • Ensure timely purchase orders, delivery follow-ups, and payment coordination.
  • Monitor vendor performance, SLAs, and escalate issues when required.
  • Maintain vendor databases, contracts, and operational records.
  • Support procurement team in negotiations and cost optimization.
  • Coordinate with finance for invoice processing and payment cycles.
  • Assist in preparing MIS reports and operational dashboards.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain / Operations (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in vendor coordination, operations, or procurement.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

The Ideal Candidate:

Should have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Operations. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in vendor coordination, operations, or procurement is required. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP tools.
