Job Title: Animal Rescue Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our emergency response team as an Animal Rescue Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective assistance to animals in need, working closely with senior paravets and office assistants to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls and emails, arranging timely support for animals in distress while adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Cruelty Case Handling: Coordinate with approved animal protection organisations, volunteers, activists, government bodies, and designated officials to facilitate rescue efforts in remote areas across the country.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain thorough records of calls and emails received, including how they were handled and concluded.
  • Training and Development: Participate in professional development training on animal handling, restraining, first aid, and other relevant lessons.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree from a recognised institution.
  • Voluntary or other experience in handling emergency and cruelty-case responses for animals is desirable.
  • Computer proficiency and fluency in Hindi and English are essential.
  • Knowledge of other local Indian languages and exceptional organisational and time-management skills are advantageous.
