Role Overview

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a key part in the configuration, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud components, including networking, virtual machines, API management services, application gateways, load balancers, Kubernetes clusters, etc.

You will write code that bridges the gap between applications and infrastructure using tools like Terraform and test the system to ensure it runs effectively and smoothly.

Additionally, you will develop and run diagnostics tests to verify the correct design of the platform, which may involve writing code for diagnostics to automate testing.

This role requires collaboration and operation in parallel with DevOps Engineers and Application Engineers, as well as mentoring and training other team members.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of public cloud platforms, such as Azure, and hands-on experience with implementing cloud marketplace services and technologies.

They should also be familiar with networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks.

Other required skills include hands-on experience with implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) using Terraform or Pulumi, strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Golang, and experience working with GITLAB or similar tools.

Preferred certifications include Kubernetes, Azure Associate Administrator, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, and Azure Solutions Architect.

Education-wise, a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience in Enterprise IT Environments
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and IAC Code
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols
  • Experience with implementing cloud marketplace services and technologies
  • Programming skills in Python or Golang
  • Experience with GITLAB or similar tools
  • Preferred certifications include Kubernetes, Azure Associate Administrator, and MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
