Airport Operations Manager Job Description:

  • Co-ordinate airport operations to guarantee efficient passenger movement.
  • Collaborate with airlines, ground handlers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support to passengers, airlines and other airport users.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve targets and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Perform tasks such as baggage handling, load management, and crew scheduling using various airport systems and applications.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including flight loads, baggage reports, and incident management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve airport operations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in any stream with relevant travel experience.
  • International Air Transport Association (IATA) certification or diploma in Travel and Tourism.
  • Thorough knowledge of the airline industry and airport operations.
  • Previous experience working on airport systems and applications, including GDS, DCS, and Crew systems.
  • Strong analytical, research, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and achieve stringent SLAs.
