About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and scaling cloud infrastructure on AWS in a Linux-based environment, partnering with development teams and cross-functional stakeholders to provide day-to-day support on DevOps activities. They will develop backend systems using strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, leveraging 3+ years of experience.
This role involves automating infrastructure and implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent, reliable software delivery, and implementing observability and monitoring solutions to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system anomalies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS in a Linux-based environment
- Partner with development teams and cross-functional stakeholders to provide day-to-day support on DevOps activities
- Develop backend systems using strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Automate infrastructure and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent, reliable software delivery
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system anomalies
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role, with deep expertise in managing and scaling cloud infrastructure on AWS in a Linux-based environment
- 3+ years of experience in backend development, with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Proven experience in infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, reliable software delivery
- Proficient in using observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or equivalent
- Demonstrated success in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices: ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and incident response across production environments
