Process Design Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Process Design Engineer to join our organization in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process design, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and ensuring safety within chemical processes.

This role requires collaboration with various teams to develop innovative solutions and improve existing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare project proposals.
  • Develop process flow diagrams and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compatibility and functionality.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement safety measures in process design.
  • Utilize simulation software to model and analyze process performance.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports for project stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in process design technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in process design engineering or related roles.
  • Proficient in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of chemical processes, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
  • Experience with CAD software for creating process diagrams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
