Job Description

As the leader of Ecommerce strategy, you will be responsible for driving growth across various channels. Your mission is to craft a holistic growth strategy that incorporates direct-to-consumer sales, marketplaces, offline sales, and emerging channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own full profit and loss (P&L) for the geography, setting aggressive revenue, margin, and customer acquisition cost (CAC)/lifetime value (LTV) targets.
  • Craft and execute a comprehensive growth strategy across D2C, marketplaces, offline, and emerging channels.
  • Forecast demand and manage end-to-end inventory, ensuring minimal stock-outs and aging stock levels.
  • Define product-market fit, localize hero SKUs, create new-product roadmaps, and sunset low-return-on-investment lines.
  • Collaborate with research and development teams to adapt formulations for regional regulations and sensorial preferences.
  • Orchestrate 360-degree marketing efforts, including performance marketing, influencer marketing, customer relationship management, public relations, and budget allocation for maximum return on ad spend.
  • Establish data pipelines and dashboards to track cohorts, repeat rates, marketplace rankings in real-time.
  • Negotiate with third-party logistics providers, payment partners, and duty consultants to optimize landed costs and service-level agreements.
  • Recruit, mentor, and performance-manage cross-functional teams.
  • Champion customer obsession by mining voice-of-customer insights to inform product updates and customer experience enhancements.
  • Drive strategic partnerships with wellness chains, tourism boards, Ayurveda clinics, and other organizations to amplify reach.
  • Ensure legal and tax compliance, including cosmetics claims, import duties, and GDPR-like mandates.
  • Present quarterly business reviews to global leadership, highlighting wins, risks, and next bets.
  • Deploy a test-and-learn culture, running A/B tests on funnels, creatives, bundles, and pricing levers.
  • Set up disaster-recovery and continuity plans for supply, logistics, ads, and key seller accounts.
  • Benchmark competition, delivering actionable intelligence on pricing, share-of-voice, and shelf velocity.
  • Act as the brand's cultural ambassador, embodying its ethos while driving high-performance execution.
