SONiC Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SONiC Automation Test Engineer to join our network testing and automation department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building test strategies, validating SONiC builds, and ensuring robust performance across routing, switching, and platform-level features.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • 5-8 years of professional experience in network testing and automation;
  • Strong expertise in SONiC fundamentals with focus on foundations, test architecture design, and SONiC CLI/commands;
  • Hands-on experience in setting up SONiC servers and builds;
  • Solid understanding of Layer 2 protocols (VLAN, STP, LACP, LLDP, ARP) /Layer 3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP, VRRP, ECMP);
  • Experience troubleshooting ASIC/Syncd failures and Redis database anomalies;
  • Proficiency in PyTest automation for test development and execution;
  • Familiarity with PTF and practical experience using SpyTest for network validation;
  • Experience on Data-Center Technologies such as - IP-Clos/IP-Fabric, MC-LAGs;
  • Ability to debug blank box issues and platform-level anomalies;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NCIA, JNCIS certifications (Juniper) or equivalent;
  • Experience in large-scale Data Center environments and SONiC production deployments;
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
