Job Title: Procurement Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day procurement operations processes, including PR to PO conversion, fixed asset creation and capitalization, initiating supplier re-certification, contract drafting, and system updates.

As a Procurement Operations Specialist, you will also contribute to key performance metrics of the team, such as SLA, quality, and efficiency. You will collaborate with category managers, accounts payable, vendor risk management office, corporate ethics and compliance teams, information security and privacy, and contingent workforce program team to drive issue resolution and process improvements.

Additionally, you will redline legal clauses and handle customer issues along the contract execution path. You will document processes, build and maintain desktop procedures (DTPs), analyze data, and act within the realm of activities as a buyer. You will also build and publish weekly/monthly reports for the team and represent the team on various internal forums.

A successful Procurement Operations Specialist will have excellent communication skills, ability to work in an exciting, fast-paced, and robust team environment, and flexibility to adapt to changes. They will be proactive, collaborative, and quick to adapt to changes. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability is required, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.


Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement operations
  • Thorough knowledge of procurement processes
  • Experience in P2P tools like Ariba/Coupa and ERP systems like SAP/Oracle
  • Contract drafting and legal terms knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in any subject area
  • Exposure to multi-cultural/multi-region shared services or procurement organization
  • Reporting and metrics tools like Tableau/Power BI
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
