Job Title: Principal Software Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Software Engineer to lead our software development team. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Java, Spring, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To design, develop, and maintain high-quality software systems using Java and related technologies.
  2. To lead the software development team and provide guidance on technical architecture and design.
  3. To collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
  4. To identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  5. To mentor junior engineers and help them grow in their careers.
  6. To stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 13 years of experience in software development with Java and related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of Investment Banking and Capital Markets domain.
  • Experience with Python, C#/.Net.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ingress Controller.
  • Exposure to AWS.
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies (Spark, Parquet, Dremio etc.).
