Key Data Infrastructure Position

We seek a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale data processing systems. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in cloud-based technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to drive business growth through data-driven insights.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using GCP services like Big Query, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  • Develop high-performance data storage solutions utilizing Cloud SQL and Google Cloud Storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering capabilities into analytics and product development processes.
  • Work closely with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models that inform business strategies.
  • Maintain and improve the overall health and performance of our data infrastructure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of SQL development experience.
  • 5+ years of analytics/data product development experience required.
  • 3+ years of Google cloud experience with solutions designed and implemented at production scale.
  • Experience working in GCP native services like Big Query, Google Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, etc.
  • 2+ Experience working with Airflow for scheduling and orchestration of data pipelines.
  • 1+ Experience working with Terraform to provision Infrastructure as Code.
  • 2 + years professional development experience in Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices.
