Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced backend software developer to lead our engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure backend applications.

This role requires a technical leader who can actively participate in architectural decisions, guide team members, and ensure our solutions are robust and efficient. You will have a direct impact on the technical direction of projects, ensuring solutions are well-designed and meet all requirements.

Key Responsibilities : Development :

  • Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
  • Integrate APIs, third-party services, and other tools to enhance system functionality.

Code Quality & Standards :

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices.
  • Actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across the team.

Technical Leadership :

  • Guide team members through architecture planning, design discussions, and code reviews.
  • Ensure the technical direction of projects is aligned with business objectives.

Collaboration :

  • Actively participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding and successful project delivery.

Continuous Improvement :

  • Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in backend development.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve our systems and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 5-8 years of professional experience in backend software development.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js with practical experience in frameworks like Express.js.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

  • A proven track record of leading engineering efforts and delivering multiple projects on time with high quality.

Professional Attributes :

  • The ability to guide and mentor team members through architecture planning, design discussions, and code reviews.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
