Cloud-Native Application Developer Job Description

This is a highly demanding role where you will be responsible for building scalable APIs, developing data processing pipelines and integrating cloud services to support efficient applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance backend systems and contribute to full-stack development when required. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and maintaining robust RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
  • Developing scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines
  • Integrating cloud services such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway
  • Collaborating with frontend developers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Python, Node.js or Java
  • Participating in code reviews, testing and deployment processes

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 4-6 years of experience in backend or full-stack development
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Node.js, Java
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
  • Experience with cloud services including AWS Lambda and API Gateway
  • Familiarity with data pipeline development and cloud integration
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
