Senior Finance Leader Job Summary:

To oversee the smooth and efficient functioning of the finance department, ensuring cash and statutory compliances are met, while strategically monitoring amendments from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Establishing appropriate internal controls, especially in relation to the use and movement of funds, through robust systems and procedures.
  • Statutory Reporting: Ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with unit's requirements, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Providing regular reports to the board/corporate, detailing the unit's performance against annual budget and other significant matters, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Risk Management: Identifying, prioritizing, and minimizing risks in a proactive manner, regularly reviewing and updating risk management strategies for improvement.
  • Audit and Compliance: Managing queries related to internal and external audit activities, working closely with the group's compliance team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Taxation and Vendor Relations: Ensuring accurate taxation policies are adopted and handling relationships with key vendors and commercial areas, fostering positive partnerships.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Leading and motivating the finance function to meet agreed targets for company performance, ensuring effective integration and collaboration with resources in finance and related business areas.
  • External Representation: Representing the organization externally to customers, the industry, and other organizations, ensuring its reputation and capability are perceived positively.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with >12 years of experience
  • Background in hospital/healthcare domain with proven expertise
  • Proficient in English and Hindi languages
  • Strong communication and observational skills, with ability to take initiative and deal with emotionally charged situations
