External Manufacturing Procurement Specialist

This role oversees the procurement of direct items within a global framework.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement for India external manufacturing (EXM) projects, involving RFQs to suppliers and budgetary proposals.
- Conduct bid comparatives, negotiate terms, and optimize costs through new sourcing and incentives.
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables and no stock-outs under area of responsibility.
- Meet end-user department requirements in terms of delivery schedule, quantity, and quality.
- Oversee existing sourcing business from India, evaluating vendor performance periodically.
- Support global business with market data and information as required.
- Evaluate further business opportunities from India and develop new suppliers accordingly.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Pharma/Chemical/Paint/FMCG industry for technical/engineering graduates.
- Post-graduation is advantageous.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for chemical companies.
- Experience working on various contract types.
