Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Description:

SDETs play a vital role in shaping platforms powered by AI, automation, and large language models to accelerate innovation and deliver flawless releases at scale.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain sophisticated automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications using a variety of tools including Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and more.

You will collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to define intelligent test coverage leveraging AI-driven agents, automated defect tracking, and dynamic reporting.

Additionally, you will drive CI/CD pipeline integration for scalable automation; continuously lead improvements in reliability, maintainability, and rapid feedback cycles.

Other responsibilities include investigating bugs, debugging applications, and automating root cause analysis through LLM-powered workflows and agentic testing solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Java or a similar language
  • Mastery with test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Appium)
  • Proven experience designing and building scalable automation frameworks from scratch
  • Very strong expertise with test automation of Web Apps, complex APIs, Mobile apps
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing
  • Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines and maintaining high coverage and rapid feedback
  • Knowledge of agentic testing applications, practical use of LLMs and AI in testing, and a willingness to experiment with the latest QA tools
  • Understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps), and structured test reporting
  • Thorough grasp of SDLC, Agile practices, QA methodologies, and team collaboration
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills
