Job Summary: We seek an accomplished Database Developer to lead our database engineering efforts.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to design, develop, and maintain large-scale databases using Azure Synapse Analytics and Dedicated SQL Pools. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft-based database technologies, including Transact-SQL development, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions. They will also contribute to the design and implementation of comprehensive data strategies, leveraging their expertise in database architecture and administration.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience with Transact-SQL development
- 7+ years of experience with data warehousing using Azure Synapse Analytics/Dedicated SQL Pools
- 5+ years of experience with ETL processes using Azure Data Factory
- Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage, Enterprise Job Scheduler (Active Batch), Eventhub/Stream Analytics, and PowerShell
- Strong understanding of computer science, mathematics, or engineering principles
