We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Compliance Specialist/Assistant Manager AML / KYC at Genpact.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting AML and KYC checks for a global investment bank, including assessing alerts, investigations, and reviews as per policy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting review on alerts generated for transaction monitoring or screening alerts in Sanctions, Adverse Media, and Politically Exposed Persons.
  • Conducting open source searches to find relevant information to complete the investigation and review.
  • Performing due diligence of documents provided for customers as per bank's policy and guidelines.
  • Capturing information and documents from internal systems/teams as per established norms of the bank on KYC documentation per policy.
  • Initiating and coordinating client outreach to fetch client documentations.
  • Conducting false positive analysis on matches identified for counterparties alerted during watch list, sanctions, and adverse media screening.
  • Mitigating or calling out true hits for AML adverse concerns and collaborating closely for further action.

You will have close interaction with customers/business as an SME in the area of AML/Compliance.

You must adhere to critical metrics and business SLAs and be responsible for preparing and reporting your own SLAs.

We seek candidates with:

  • A university graduate in any field.
  • Relevant work experience.
  • Sound business communication (in English).

Prior experience in CDD/EDD of clients for investment or retail banks, including periodic review/KYC refresh is preferred.

Additionally, we seek candidates with the ability to conduct detailed investigations in adverse/negative media and transaction surveillance/monitoring, sound understanding of sanctions, PEP, and other watch lists, and knowledge of AML/KYC controls including front-end systems, applications, data sources, and back-end controls.

Experience with tools like World Check, Banker's Almanac, Actimize, RDC, Lexis Nexis, Dow Jones, and regulatory databases such as FINRA, Company House, and other local regulators and company registries is desirable.

We offer a competitive salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
