Job Overview

The role of a Project Director entails overseeing the successful implementation of projects from initiation to delivery. This position plays a pivotal role in driving business growth through effective project management.

This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing diverse portfolios of customers and projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Directors are responsible for:

  • Successful project implementation using best practices and methodologies.
  • Managing project teams comprising functional and technical consultants (internal and external).
  • Providing guidance on FICO products to converse confidently with clients.
  • BUILDING TRUSTED CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Interpreting commercial and contractual terms to manage projects according to agreed terms and conditions.
  • Supporting Country Services leaders, Practice Leads, and Sales teams on pre-sales activities and proposals.
  • Complying with PMO Governance and Project Reporting using project management tools.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 15 years of working experience.
  • At least 8 years of effective project management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software implementation, particularly in project management/technical delivery management.
  • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end large/medium software projects using Waterfall and Agile Methodology.
  • Strong understanding of risk, fraud, originations, customer onboarding domains.
  • Experience in delivering software solutions in loan originations, fraud, decisioning, customer management.
  • Proficiency in Cloud-based implementations and On-Prem solutions.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certifications like Scrum Master, SAFe.
  • Willingness to travel (20-30%).
