Job Title: Project Director

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled project director to lead and manage projects within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in German.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Strategy: Develop and implement project strategies.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate teams and internal resources.
  • Progress Oversight: Oversee project progress and adapt work as required.
  • Timeline Management: Ensure projects meet timelines.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
  • Report Generation: Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff.
  • Process Enhancement: Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.
  • New Project Initiation: Secure growth opportunities and initiate new projects.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field.
  • Experience: 8-11 years of project management experience.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in German.
  • Methodology Understanding: Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
  • Project Experience: Experience in managing medium to large projects.
  • Skill Requirements: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Tight Deadlines: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Certification: PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Software Familiarity: Familiarity with project management software tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
