Job Title: Information Security Specialist

Overview:

  • This is a challenging role that requires expertise in developing and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring systems for security breaches, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with IT teams to integrate security into development pipelines and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor systems for potential security breaches and respond accordingly.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
  • Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of security into development pipelines.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
