Job Title: Technical Workflow Specialist

Job Description:
  • Play a key role in supporting the team's digital workflows and collaboration by utilizing technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with Senior Technical Management, Product Owners, and Project Managers to develop and implement requirements for our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver service improvements without unnecessary investment in new products by working smarter, providing better tools, and leveraging existing product sets.
  2. Align Technology solutions with Operational areas to focus on practical delivery of solutions architecture to FIL using experience from across the Atlassian product set.
  3. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Atlassian Jira and Confluence and related Add-ons.
  4. Provide ownership and regular updates of issues, including supporting users with best practice advice until resolution.
  5. Evaluate, diagnose, research, analyze, and provide solutions to simple and medium-complexity problems encountered.
  6. Proactively plan to assess new upcoming features on cloud and communicate to users wherever applicable.
  7. Adhere to Security Policy surrounding platform standards and provide engineering solutions as directed by the Security Product roadmap.
  8. Ensure operational requirements are matched in the delivery of services around standards and engineering, identifying when support arrangements may need to change to efficiently onboard new technology.
  9. Own and manage user access permissions per security guidelines.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing, troubleshooting, implementing, and supporting Jira and Confluence Cloud, alongside experience in Atlassian administration and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud within a professional environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and cloud-based project management tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of security policies, user management, best practices, design, usage, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills in a cloud-based setting.
  • Proficiency in Shell, Python, and Groovy scripting for automating tasks to minimize manual workload.
  • Strong knowledge in creating reports on Jira Dashboards and EazyBI.
  • Implementation skills in managing Jira custom fields, workflow management, and developing common templates.
  • Considerable experience in integrating Jira and Confluence with third-party tools.
