Job Opportunity: Clinical Data Programmer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop data listings and mappings
  • Design data visualizations
  • Review clinical data in JReview
  • Automate tasks to improve efficiency
  • Configure data extraction and transformations across multiple data sources at the study level as defined by data transfer agreements and other specifications provided by data engineers
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and data engineers in a team environment
  • Deliver high-quality data format and frequency as per specifications

Additional Activities:

  • Assist with quality review of vendor activities, as needed.
  • Adhere to computer system validation standards and Good Clinical Practice regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with learning curricula, corporate, and GxP requirements. Perform other duties as assigned within timelines.

This position requires a strong foundation in programming principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with clinical data systems, data visualization tools, and automation software.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing data extraction and transformation processes
  • Collaborating with data engineers and stakeholders to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Maintaining and improving data visualization tools and reports
  • Providing training and support to colleagues on data transfer specs and best practices

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 2 years of experience working with clinical data systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
