Senior Communications Engineer

The Senior Communications Engineer is a key position responsible for designing, implementing, and managing global communication systems to support voice, video, messaging, and collaboration across the organization. This role emphasizes expertise in advanced communication solutions, including Unified Communications (UC) platforms, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and contact center management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement UC infrastructure, ensuring seamless voice and messaging services.
  • Deploy and maintain AudioCodes SBCs and OVOC servers, ensuring system reliability and compliance.
  • Administer and manage OVOC server licenses for global operations.
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Teams phone systems in a fully cloud-based model.
  • Ensure tight integration between UC platforms and other IT systems.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of UC infrastructure.
  • Provide strategic input to roadmap planning, focusing on scalability and global UC solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Unified Communications, focusing on Zoom Phone and Microsoft Teams Phone, AudioCodes SBCs, OVOC servers, and AV Zoom Rooms.
  • Proficiency in SIP trunking, call routing, and global telephony integrations.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise UC deployments, especially in global environments.

Skills:

  • Expertise in Zoom and Microsoft Teams UC platforms, including telephony and AV solutions.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, security, and compliance for UC systems.
  • Ability to work effectively across departments and vendors.

Advantages:
