Job Title: Medical Coding Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a medical coder
  • Medical coding certification (CPC) or successful completion of a recognized certification program
  • Bachelor's degree in pre-health career track preferred
  • Strong administrative writing skills
  • Effective reporting and organizational skills
  • Record-keeping and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and organization
  • Proficient typing and oral communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Expertise in ICD-X codes and CPT Procedures
  • Skilled in operating medical record software, word-processing, and database software programs
