Senior Institutional Investment Operations Specialist

">Job Description
  • The candidate is responsible for managing organizational-wide initiatives from a risk and control perspective, working closely with multiple business units.
  • A thorough understanding of CIB organizational policies and procedures is necessary to simplify and socialize them within teams for improved adoption and adherence.
  • Candidate will work across more than one business unit as a Cross-Functional SIP, requiring knowledge of domain expertise across Reference Data Services, Broker Dealer, FX, Future Commission Merchant, Derivatives Settlements, and Middle Office Operations.
  • Establish strong governance around organizational risks and controls, monitor and report control performance across business units.
  • Conduct walk-through sessions with operations teams, maintaining a collaborative environment to perform process gap analysis, control testing, metric mapping, identify key risk indicators, and continuous monitoring.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in Capital Markets operations/middle office operations, covering the trade life cycle of static data, confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and investigations.
  • Good amount of working experience in product classes like FX, equity, fixed income, with functional expertise in brokerage, broker dealer services.
