Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Service Operations team within the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering division.

The Service Operations team is responsible for delivering high quality and highly available SaaS infrastructure and internal tools.

This role will work closely with internal stakeholders from R&D and Cloud Infrastructure organizations using modern toolsets to deliver resilient & scalable business solutions.

  • Provisioning and ongoing management of physical & virtual Linux machines using Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Closely engaging with sister teams to assume ownership of system lifecycle tasks
  • Automating away toil and/or creating empowerment processes for transitioning high urgency work to the rapid response team
  • Building automated monitoring & observability using Prometheus/AlertManager, iCinga, Grafana, etc.
  • Participating in Agile/scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, etc.
  • Working closely with internal teams to integrate new monitoring & alerts into the NOC using Perl scripting
  • Developing metrics and observability dashboards to measure and track success measures for the team & the business
