Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing and prototyping with laser line profilers, displacement sensors, ultrasonic probes, and cameras
  • Selecting and supporting hardware, designing mounts and enclosures that withstand heat, vibration, and factory conditions
  • Integrating with DAQ tools, PLCs, and basic OpenCV scripts
  • Troubleshooting and iterating quickly when challenges arise
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision
  • Familiarity with laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems
  • Ability to design practical mechanical setups (mounts, fixtures, enclosures)
  • Proficiency in Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics and PLC connections
  • Familiarity with high-heat/industrial environments and ability to get hands-on
  • Based in India, with flexibility to travel for deployments
  • Available ~20 hours/week (flexible schedule)
