Senior Data Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our modern data platform.

This role is perfect for someone with deep technical expertise in ETL pipeline design, data modeling, and data infrastructure who thrives in a fast-paced engineering-driven environment.

You'll work across the full data stack from ingestion and transformation to orchestration and delivery playing a key role in scaling analytics and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design efficient scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data flows
  • Develop transformation models using dbt and orchestrate pipelines via Airflow
  • Optimize large-scale processing jobs in Apache Spark
  • Tune and manage relational analytical databases PostgreSQL Snowflake
  • Architect maintain schemas using Star Schema 3NF SCD2 methodologies
  • Design support lakehouse architectures scalable storage solutions
  • Implement enforce data governance validation quality control mechanisms
  • Maintain DevOps standards CI/CD GitFlow containerization tools Docker Ansible

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency SQL ETL/ELT design
  • Strong experience dbt Airflow Spark
  • Deep understanding data modeling techniques Star Schema 3NF SCD2
  • Proven ability optimize tune PostgreSQL Snowflake performance
  • Familiarity lakehouse architecture principles tools
