**Job Title:** Engineering Project Director

The Head of Projects will be accountable for overseeing the entire engineering, procurement, and construction life cycle of a project. This includes ensuring successful delivery within the stipulated timeline, budget, and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing an overall project strategy, planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Defining project scope, finalizing deliverables, and timelines, with coordination among discipline leads.
  • Planning and executing asset transfer projects, including relocation of working plants, construction at new locations, and procurement management.
  • Ensuring completion of projects within scheduled timelines, budgets, and acceptable quality standards.

**Budgeting and Financial Management:

  • Monitoring and controlling project budgets.
  • Optimizing production costs, processes, and output.

**Compliances:

  • Ensuring adherence to statutory compliances related to quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Participating in audit procedures and reporting on management compliance.

**Risk Management:

  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks, including project delays, supply chain disruptions, and safety hazards.

**Contract Management:

  • Negotiating and managing contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A solid understanding of international project phases, engineering phases, bidding procedures, procurement processes, construction requirements, and best practices.
  • Exposure to implementing construction management software and understanding of project management principles.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-border projects.

**Additional Requirements:

  • Readiness to work in US time zones.
  • Candidates with US work visas preferred.
