Site Reliability Engineering Lead

This is a highly sought-after position where you will be exposed to the latest technologies and work alongside brilliant minds in the industry.

You will play a key role in shaping the SRE function within CTO and being part of the Group SRE team. The successful candidate will work closely with a small number of SREs in platform engineering, operations teams, and wider infrastructure teams for both public cloud and on-premises platforms.

  • SRE Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote an "Automate-first" culture in operating services, reducing toil through automation and process elimination.
  • Create methodologies and strategies for identifying toil-heavy processes and automating inefficient workflows.
  • Collaborate with all parties to develop and implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for critical services.
  • Design and implement monitoring strategies and capabilities with Engineering.
  • Conduct capacity planning and perform chaos engineering exercises to improve reliability.
  • Lead architectural reviews for reliability and drive continuous improvement from incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on SRE Practitioner with 5+ years of working experience in SRE roles.
  • Practical experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives, operating to Error Budgets, and implementing monitoring and observability technologies for enterprise-grade production systems.
  • Experience with corporate software development lifecycle methodologies and gitops implementation.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and understanding of production support processes.
  • 2+ years of experience with one/more public/private cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
