Job Title: SAP Business One Cloud Support Specialist

An experienced cloud professional is sought to support and maintain SAP Business One environments hosted on Microsoft Azure. The role involves part-time, remote support ensuring smooth operation, high availability, and security of SAP B1 workloads running on the Azure cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SAP B1 Administration: Administer and support SAP Business One hosted on Azure (VMs, databases, networking, storage, and security).
  • Cloud Monitoring and Maintenance: Perform regular system monitoring, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Azure Resource Management: Manage Azure resources efficiently, ensuring cost optimization and scalability.
  • High Availability Strategies: Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business teams to address technical requirements and resolve issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Azure governance, security, and IT best practices.
  • Automation: Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or related tools where possible.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Azure Administration: Proven hands-on experience as an Azure Administrator (certification preferred).
  • SAP B1 Knowledge: Practical experience with SAP Business One administration (SQL Server / HANA knowledge beneficial).
  • Azure IaaS/PaaS Services: Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS services (VMs, networking, storage, monitoring, backup).
  • Windows Server/Active Directory/SQL Server: Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server administration.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity with flexible availability.
Nice to Have:
  • Azure Security Center/Azure Monitor/Azure Cost Management: Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Cost Management.
  • SAP B1 Integrations: Knowledge of SAP Business One integrations with external applications.
  • SAP Workload Migration: Prior experience in SAP workload migration to Azure.
