**Job Title:** Senior Manager

This senior manager role focuses on verifying and authorizing security transaction tax notes, compiling profit and loss information, validating tax returns and certificates, and managing tax assessments.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in tax computations, VAT audits, and income computation reports. They should be able to prepare and send reports for validation by consultants or auditors, address critical queries from auditors, and ensure accurate and timely processing of tax-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and authorize security transaction tax notes initiated from the membership department against calculated values, then send for further authorization.
  • Compile profit and loss information for each company to calculate advance income tax payable.
  • Validate tax returns and certificates for TDS/service tax/STT: verify that total values in Form 16A match total tax liability.
  • Tax and VAT Audits: prepare income computation reports based on audit results and send for validation by consultants or auditors. Address any critical queries from auditors.
  • Manage tax assessments and litigations, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
