Key Objectives:

  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with Goods and Services Tax, Value Added Tax, Central Sales Tax, Entry Tax, and Entertainment Tax regulations.
  • Manage and close indirect tax assessments across various state tax departments effectively.
  • Contribute actively to GST audits and provide support in preparing and filing audit documentation efficiently.
  • Draft and submit replies to Show Cause Notices and represent the organization in tax hearings.
  • Coordinate with Commercial and Entertainment Tax departments as well as external consultants.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain updated knowledge of indirect tax laws and amendments, particularly focusing on Goods and Services Tax.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and government departments for assessments and clarifications.
  • Support litigation and advisory functions related to indirect taxation matters.
  • Utilize MS Office and Oracle systems for tax computations, reporting, and reconciliations proficiently.
  • Apply analytical and accounting skills to ensure compliance and risk mitigation in tax-related matters effectively.
