Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and implement regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with RBI, IRDAI, and SEBI guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain ongoing compliance with regulatory expectations, ensuring the highest standards of security and risk management.
  • Develop and implement effective information security principles, policies, and frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and IT teams to minimize information security risks and ensure the security of our systems and data.
  • Architect and implement solutions that meet regulatory cybersecurity requirements, ensuring the highest levels of security and compliance.
  • Conduct technology risk assessments, recommending mitigation strategies to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
  • Ensure readiness for internal and external audits, maintaining all necessary documents and evidence.
  • Represent Navi in board and committee meetings, as well as discussions with regulators, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct security awareness programs, training personnel on data security and privacy processes and responsibilities.
  • Review and conduct third-party risk assessments and vendor evaluations before onboarding.
  • Review security solutions and controls implemented by tech and engineering teams, ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance.

Required Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience in information security or compliance.
  • Prior experience in the fintech or startup industry and knowledge of regulatory compliances like PCI DSS, RBI Master Directives, IRDA, and SEBI cybersecurity guidelines.
  • Hands-on approach to solving complex security problems.
  • Experience with cybersecurity and risk management frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-37, and others.
  • Working knowledge of cloud environments like AWS and GCP.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to balance risk, potential impact, resourcing, business drivers, and timelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
