Job Title: Building Design Director
We are seeking an experienced Building Design Director to oversee our structural engineering and BIM projects. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers and modelers, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality deliverables in line with project timelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the structural engineering & BIM team on multiple projects.
  • Review and guide the development of structural drawings, models, and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and construction teams for project integration.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, project specifications, and BIM execution plans.
  • Perform design checks, clash detection, and model validation.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and BIM modelers.
  • Monitor project progress, allocate resources, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Support in preparing technical reports, calculations, and documentation for approvals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in structural engineering and BIM/construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, AutoCAD) and structural analysis tools (ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE).
  • Experience in managing a team and delivering coordinated BIM models.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
