Job Opportunity: Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our organization.

About the Role:
  • This position involves creating and implementing data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and validity.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in data quality, metadata management, and access control, with a strong understanding of data lineage and metadata management.
  • Responsibilities include defining and managing user access rights, ensuring appropriate data access, and preventing unauthorized access.
  • The specialist will work closely with data stewards to manage data assets, resolve data quality issues, and ensure data is used appropriately.
  • This role requires establishing and maintaining a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6-9 years of experience in data governance
  • Strong understanding of data quality, metadata management, and access control
  • Experience in creating and implementing data governance policies, standards, and procedures
  • Ability to define and manage user access rights
  • Knowledge of data lineage and metadata management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
