Biology Researcher for AI Model Development

We are looking for a skilled biology researcher to work with our team on developing large language models. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in biology, particularly at the PhD level.

The main responsibilities of this role include designing and solving challenging biology problems to probe the limitations of large language models, developing high-quality solutions with clear reasoning, collaborating with LLM researchers, and contributing to defining new evaluation benchmarks.

To be successful in this position, candidates should possess good research and analytical skills, ability to provide constructive feedback, creative thinking abilities, excellent communication skills, and self-motivation. They should also be able to work independently in a remote setting and have a desktop/laptop setup with a good internet connection.

Preferred qualifications include the ability to analyze and solve complex biological problems, explain Biology concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and simulations when needed. Additionally, candidates should have experience working on cutting-edge AI projects and be able to adapt to new technologies.

Requirements
  1. Candidates pursuing a Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field are eligible and encouraged to apply.
