Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Formulation Development Manager to lead our product development team in creating innovative and effective formulations for various dosage forms. This role requires a strong background in formulation development, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will have expertise in developing solid and liquid oral formulations, including pellets, and will be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new formulations for solid and liquid dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, solutions, suspensions, and pellets.
  • Lead project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with analytical development, supply chain, clinical, regulatory, and IP departments to ensure seamless technology transfer and compliance.
  • Conduct scale-up studies and optimize existing product performance by investigating API characteristics and finished products.
  • Prepare and review technology transfer documents, lab experiment notebooks, and batch manufacturing and process validation documents.
  • Liaise with production teams to execute plant-scale up and exhibit batches.
  • Program for the optimization of existing product performance and monitor stability studies.
  • Participate in departmental audits and ensure compliance with recommendations.

Requirements
  • Masters in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) or equivalent experience.
  • Must-have skills: Formulation development experience of Solid & Liquid Oral; preferred to have Pellets project experience.
