**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly experienced sales professional to join our team as a Government Liaison and Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with government departments and agencies, developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and continuously following up with projects, distributors, and retailers to enhance business.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Product and Market Development: Identify new product opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share
- Pricing and Promotional Schemes: Develop pricing strategies and promotional schemes to drive sales growth
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to reach new customers and increase brand awareness
- Payment Collection: Ensure timely collection of payments from customers
- Maintenance of Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and follow-up
**Requirements**
The ideal candidate should have:
- A degree in BBA or BCom from a reputable institution
- Good spoken English and local language skills
- Proven work experience in sales, preferably in the construction materials industry
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with tendering and tender participation processes
