Job Title: Visual Content Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Visual Content Specialist with 6 months to 1 year of experience in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent) and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge in basemap digitization, geospatial analysis, and GIS data management.

This role is part of our remote team where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide spatial insights and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain GIS databases, applications, and geospatial products.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data from various sources.
  • Create high-quality maps and visualizations to effectively communicate spatial insights.
  • Conduct spatial analyses, including clustering, proximity analysis, and overlay analysis.
  • Collaborate with urban planners, engineers, and data scientists to integrate GIS technology into workflows.
  • Provide technical support and training for GIS software and tools.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of GIS data and systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent).
  • Experience in Basemap Digitization Projects, geospatial analysis, data management, and cartography.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
