About the RoleWe are seeking an Engineering Manager I to lead a team of engineers, drive technical excellence, and deliver high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical expertise, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for mentoring teams.
You will be responsible for managing development cycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable software products. You will also oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and development processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Drive technical execution by ensuring high-quality design, architecture, and coding practices.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define and execute technical roadmaps.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve engineering efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement and advocate for engineering best practices, CI/CD, and DevOps strategies.
- Strong programming background in languages like Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Experience in designing and scaling distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-based applications (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and create a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
