We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team at Guidewire Software. As a member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing sophisticated solutions for the property & casualty insurance industry.

Job Description

You will work closely with your Scrum team to understand the requirements and problems you need to tackle. Your responsibilities will include finding the right tools, getting involved in design sessions, and building reliable solutions. You will also focus on code quality, perform code reviews, and provide feedback. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing technical design and leadership of features from inception to release, mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers, and contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of products.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in frontend development. You should be proficient in modern web technologies, including JavaScript (ES Next), HTML5, CSS/Sass, and market-leading frameworks such as Reactjs. Experience working in an Agile work environment and knowledge of Agile methodologies are also essential. Furthermore, you should have strong skills in writing unit and E2E tests, testable components, and automation scripts and tools to support the CI/CD pipeline. A good understanding of best coding practices and documentation is also necessary.
