Job Title: CPU Physical Design Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed core CPU architecture. This includes synthesis, constraints, and physical design.

Key qualifications include:

  • Significant knowledge of high-speed cores including CPU, GPU, DDR etc
  • Experience with synthesis & Constraints with PPA in mind
  • Ability to work with RTL designers for optimizations and feedback
  • Knowledgeable on silicon margins, VT trade-off, power and area impact
  • Familiarity with floorplanning for multi-core, L2 & L3 and power planning all the way to Bumps
  • Understanding of critical paths, pipelining, Latency and super buffer implementations etc.
  • Low power implementation knowledge is an added advantage

About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our team as a CPU Physical Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-speed core development and experience working with RTL designers.

As a CPU Physical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed core CPU architecture. This includes synthesis, constraints, and physical design. You will work closely with our RTL designers to ensure that the design meets the required specifications.
