Job Title: Genesis Accounts Head

At Super Scholar, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Genesis Accounts Head to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the organization, leading the accounting and finance teams, and providing strategic guidance for financial planning and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accurate and timely financial closing.
  • Team Management: Manage the accounting team and ensure accurate and timely financial closing.
  • Financial Analysis: Lead financial analysis and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial laws.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to support financial initiatives.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize and streamline financial processes and controls.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning and contribute financial expertise.
  • External Collaboration: Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • System Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems and tools.
  • Risk Management: Implement risk management strategies and internal controls.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Certification: CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Experience: 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in a leadership role.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial Reporting: Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Accounting Software: Advanced knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Task Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Financial Performance: Proven track record of driving financial performance and efficiency.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Pressure Management: Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
