Service Operations Specialist

Job Overview:

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to oversee and manage service operations through a centralized console.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on technical expertise in large-scale enterprise projects/programs.
  • Lead change and incident management processes, adhering to key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level agreements (SLAs) for O365 collaboration services.
  • Develop and generate regular service reports as required.
  • Hold strong knowledge and troubleshooting expertise in Exchange online, Licensing, Azure AD, AD Connect, and On-Prem AD.
  • Demonstrate expertise in MS Teams and SharePoint site configuration & troubleshooting.
  • Stay up-to-date with awareness, technical readiness training, and upskilling to ensure continued capabilities of O365 and associated services.

Requirements:

  • Understand the IT roadmap and develop an execution strategy for managing services effectively using existing solutions or proposing new ones.
  • Comprehend security concepts like Conditional access policies, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Azure Information Protection (AIP)/Windows Information Protection (WIP), and Compliance checks.
  • Have knowledge of work processes under ITIL guidelines, change management, and project management.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, with expertise in PowerShell Scripting and entire M365 platform administration.
  • Display clear conceptual understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD)/Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) technology and knowledge of SharePoint and M365 groups.
